Experienced manager drives software development in the sorting business

BÖWE SYSTEC GmbH has further expanded the management of its important sorting business: Karel Hoogenboom took charge as Vice President Sorting on 1 January 2012. The experienced manager will drive the further development of hardware and software, which is to be geared precisely to the constantly changing requirements of private mail service providers.

Karel Hoogenboom will be coordinating BÖWE SYSTEC’s sorting activities from Oberursel, Germany, as well as supporting sales and service. “One focus of Karel Hoogenboom’s work will be to manage software development and offer private mail service providers a flexible solution capable of satisfying all future market requirements in the form of BÖWE Sort,” explains Heiner Kudrus, CEO of BÖWE SYSTEC GmbH. “Karel Hoogenboom will also be coordinating the further integration of BÖWE Sort in Siemens machine technology as a basis for the Simex sorting systems we distribute.”

Karel Hoogenboom was Managing Director of the Dutch subsidiary of BÖWE SYSTEC between 2007 and 31 December 2011, with additional responsibility for the refurbishing business. His former job as Managing Director Netherlands was taken over on 1 January 2012 by Marnik Hoebrekx, who also retains his existing position at BÖWE SYSTEC Belgium.
