Current information about Coronavirus

As a globally operating company, we are watching the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation very closely. It is our duty to act responsibly and to do our best to protect society – both internally within our company and beyond it.

We have been monitoring and assessing the situation since the start of the spread of COVID-19, and we have taken measures promptly to protect our staff, customers and partners. We are constantly adjusting these to stay abreast of the current situation, because health and safety are our top priorities. In parallel with this, we are in constant and close touch with the authorities and we follow their instructions.

We are maintaining production whilst adhering to the required precautions. Our global service teams also continue to be there for our customers, because now more than ever we want to be by your side. We are doing our utmost to help our customers and partners to maintain and strengthen their processes so that letters, parcels, medicines, pharmacy products and food reach the places where they will be needed, rapidly and reliably – even in these difficult circumstances.

Don’t hesitate to let us know how we can back you up, and, above all, keep safe and healthy.

Please find some of the measures that BÖWE SYSTEC has implemented listed below:

Precautionary & hygiene measures

We are raising staff awareness of the need to reduce social contacts and we are informing our staff of the precautionary and hygiene measures they should adopt.

Production & Service

Due in part to our high degree of in-house manufacturing, it has been and still is possible for production in our plants to continue – always, of course, in compliance with the required precautions. Our global service teams continue to be available for our customers.

Business trips

BÖWE SYSTEC employees have been instructed to avoid unnecessary travel and to rely instead on telephone or video conferences. Business trips to high risk zones identified by the Robert Koch Institute are currently not permitted.

Mobile working

Wherever necessary and in agreement with their managers, we are enabling our employees to work mainly from home. This is particularly the case for all of our colleagues who are in one of the at-risk groups.

It is an organizational challenge for parents when crêches, nurseries and schools have to close and it is not always possible to find an alternative care solution. We are therefore make every effort in developing ways of making it possible to combine professional activity and childcare.
